The Banquet Porter position available at T-Mobile Park under Sodexo is a pivotal role within their event services team. Job Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
  • Prior lead or captain experience preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service
  • Valid TIPS or TEAM certification or equivalent required
  • Compliance with state-specific alcohol training
  • Food handler certification may be required
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred

  • Prior lead or captain experience in a banquet or event environment preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations

Job Duties

  • Provide direct, on-floor leadership during banquet and catered events
  • Coordinate service execution and direct Banquet Servers and Banquet Porters
  • Ensure service delivery follows Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), timelines, and service standards
  • Participate actively in event setup, service, and breakdown
  • Maintain strong focus on guest satisfaction, communication, and attention to detail
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and alcohol service policies
  • Assist with training and onboarding of banquet service staff
