Job Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
- Prior lead or captain experience preferred
- Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service
- Valid TIPS or TEAM certification or equivalent required
- Compliance with state-specific alcohol training
- Food handler certification may be required
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of banquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience
- Prior lead or captain experience in a banquet or event environment preferred
- Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations
- Must maintain a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
- Compliance with all state-specific alcohol training requirements
- Food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations
Job Duties
- Provide direct, on-floor leadership during banquet and catered events
- Coordinate service execution and direct Banquet Servers and Banquet Porters
- Ensure service delivery follows Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), timelines, and service standards
- Participate actively in event setup, service, and breakdown
- Maintain strong focus on guest satisfaction, communication, and attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and alcohol service policies
- Assist with training and onboarding of banquet service staff
