Job Duties

Check servers and house persons banquet event orders to ensure accuracy
check room setup and verify adherence to banquet event order directions
ensure all public areas are neat and clean
contact group representatives and explain communication protocols during events
oversee proper presentation and service of all food and beverage items according to property standards
maintain ongoing communication between culinary department and banquet team to manage schedule changes or challenges
compile event charges from banquet event orders and ensure correct billing and client signature
complete and distribute necessary paperwork such as Captain's Consumption Sheets and reports
ensure equipment is returned and event areas are cleaned post-function
assign duties to banquet staff and captains for events
verify staff attendance on banquet sign-in sheets and collect signatures
prepare event rooms fully before guest arrival
recap all banquet checks daily and submit to night audit
perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors or managers
