Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in banquet or event management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and move equipment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in banquet management or similar role in hospitality
- Strong background in event planning and food and beverage management preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Keen attention to detail
Job Duties
- Manage the planning and execution of banquet events including food and beverage service, decor, and seating arrangements
- Ensure all client specifications are met for successful events
- Supervise banquet staff including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure team members adhere to service standards and provide excellent customer service
- Handle logistical details including setup and breakdown of events, equipment management, and coordination with other departments
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after events
- Monitor the quality of food and service during events
