Job Requirements

  • Education equivalent to high school diploma or higher
  • Relevant experience in banquet or event management
  • Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move equipment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in banquet management or a similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Strong background in event planning and food and beverage management preferred
  • Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Experience managing a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Job Duties

  • Manage the planning and execution of banquet events including food and beverage service decor and seating arrangements
  • Supervise banquet staff including hiring training and scheduling
  • Ensure adherence to service standards and provide excellent customer service
  • Handle logistical details such as setup and breakdown of events equipment management and coordination with other departments
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients before during and after events
  • Monitor the quality of food and service during events ensuring all standards are met
  • Address client issues or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
