The Banquet Manager role at Marriott Lexington Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa is a critical management position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the banquet events. Reporting directly to the Director of Banquets, the banquet manager ensures flawless execution of food and beverage service, decor, seating arrangements, and all client specifications. Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to high school diploma or higher
- Relevant experience in banquet or event management
- Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Manage the planning and execution of banquet events including food and beverage service decor and seating arrangements
- Supervise banquet staff including hiring training and scheduling
- Ensure adherence to service standards and provide excellent customer service
- Handle logistical details such as setup and breakdown of events equipment management and coordination with other departments
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients before during and after events
- Monitor the quality of food and service during events ensuring all standards are met
- Address client issues or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
