Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to high school diploma or higher
- Relevant experience in banquet or event management
- Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move equipment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in banquet management or a similar role in the hospitality industry
- Strong background in event planning and food and beverage management preferred
- Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Keen attention to detail
- Experience managing a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Job Duties
- Manage the planning and execution of banquet events including food and beverage service decor and seating arrangements
- Supervise banquet staff including hiring training and scheduling
- Ensure adherence to service standards and provide excellent customer service
- Handle logistical details such as setup and breakdown of events equipment management and coordination with other departments
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients before during and after events
- Monitor the quality of food and service during events ensuring all standards are met
- Address client issues or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
