Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in banquet management or relevant supervisory roles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Two years of banquet management experience preferred
  • Previous hotel food and beverage experience preferred
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong business communication skills

Job Duties

  • Manage and coordinate banquet events to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences
  • Assist with hiring and training banquet staff, including scheduling and conducting monthly meetings
  • Illustrate proper techniques and etiquette for all banquet service styles
  • Supervise setup of functions including placement of linens, silver, china, and glassware according to event specifications
  • Visually inspect function rooms and equipment for cleanliness, proper inventory, and setup
  • Collaborate with culinary, sales, and operations departments to ensure successful event execution
  • Monitor banquet operations to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction
