The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, nestled in the vibrant heart of historic downtown Annapolis, stands as a premier establishment offering guests an unmatched hospitality experience. With its picturesque waterfront location, the hotel combines the charm and allure of a historic setting with modern amenities and exceptional service standards. As part of the esteemed Atlas Restaurant Group, the hotel embraces a culture founded on excellence, trust, and community, dedicated to creating unforgettable moments for every visitor. The Annapolis Waterfront Hotel is renowned not only for its elegant accommodations but also for being a distinguished venue for weddings, celebrations, corporate gatherings, and various special occasions. The environment emphasizes a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere, where every guest feels valued and every event is executed with meticulous attention to detail.
We are currently seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to join our team, a professional passionate about hospitality leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. This role is crucial to the success of our banquet and event operations as it involves guiding our events team towards delivering superior service that aligns with the high standards expected at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. As the Banquet Manager, you will operate as the backbone of our banquet functions, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all events from start to finish. This includes managing operations across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special event services to ensure every detail is flawlessly executed.
The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational and communication skills, and possess a deep understanding of banquet and event management. You will serve as a key liaison between guests, event planners, culinary teams, and internal departments to align efforts and exceed guest expectations. Your role extends beyond managing events; you will lead by example on the floor, inspire and empower your team, foster a positive service culture, and ensure compliance with operational, administrative, and financial protocols.
In addition to overseeing the smooth execution of events, the Banquet Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing guest feedback and implementing actionable strategies to enhance service quality. This leadership position also involves managing staff scheduling, labor costs, banquet inventory, and maintaining high sanitation and safety standards. Compensation for the role ranges from $55,000 to $65,000 annually, plus performance bonuses, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required.
Joining the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel means becoming part of a vibrant team within Atlas Restaurant Group, a company that values growth, development, and leadership. We invest heavily in our employees through learning and development programs, offer advancement opportunities, and foster a culture where innovative thinking and bold action are encouraged. This is a chance to contribute to a growing collection of hospitality destinations that prides itself on setting new standards of excellence, not just meeting industry norms. If you are ready to lead with passion, drive operational excellence, and create memorable experiences for our guests, we invite you to apply for this exciting Banquet Manager position.
