The role of Banquet Lead at Bass Pro Shops' WRCC involves managing the daily operations of the banquet and restaurant facilities, ensuring everything from appearance and presentation to customer experience is held to the highest standards. The Banquet Lead is responsible for ensuring compliance with all operational standards, including company policies as well as federal, state, and local laws. In addition to operational duties, the Banquet Lead collaborates closely with event planners to coordinate service details, manage last-minute requests, and gather feedback to guarantee a memorable experience for all attendees. The position includes supervising hourly team members, enforcing safety and sanitation standards, and completing all necessary compliance and procedure documentation. The Banquet Lead is expected to exercise good judgment and make informed decisions independently or with minimal supervision. Job Duties

  • ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal, state, local laws and ordinances
  • ensures all prepared menu items meet quality expectations and plate specifications 100 percent of the time
  • prepares menu items strictly adhering to recipe guidelines as ordered for patrons
  • previews daily BEOs
  • follows proper personal hygiene and sanitation standards set by health department
  • plans the serving details and orchestrates in a timely manner
  • meets with planners prior to, during and at the conclusion of the event to discuss details, last minute requests, and gathering feedback
  • supervises the hourly team, leading them with enthusiasm
  • enforces safety and sanitary practices and maintenance for WRCC
  • completes all relevant SOPs including compliance and procedural items
  • completes all relevant Systems in Place
  • exercises good judgement and makes well-informed decisions
  • performs all other duties as assigned
