The Event Support Expert role at Westin is a dynamic, full-time, non-management position that plays a critical part in the flawless execution of events such as banquets, meetings, and other special gatherings. Unlike conventional roles that only handle setup tasks, this position involves creating a memorable and unique atmosphere for guests by taking initiative and delivering a broad range of services essential for the smooth running of events. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down materials, transporting supplies, and stocking bars and action stations. This hands-on role requires physical activity such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier items with help.
