Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar housekeeping or banquet role preferred
- Ability to lift and move weight up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or banquet services is an advantage
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet, meeting and conference areas to meet established cleanliness and quality standards
- Clean restrooms, vacuum, mop, sweep, shampoo carpets, wax floors, remove trash, stock and maintain supply rooms, report maintenance deficiencies
- Ensure equipment is in full working order and report any defects
- Project a professional manner to guests and team members
- Assist back of house team when requested
- Lift and push banquet equipment
- Assist with set ups to ensure department runs efficiently
- Manage the set up relating to Food and Beverage functions in a timely manner
- Lift, pull, push at least 50 pounds
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Attend training provided by the hotel
