The role of Banquet Houseperson is vital to the success of events hosted by Heritage Hotels & Resorts. This position involves ensuring banquet spaces are properly set up, maintained, and restored with a high degree of efficiency, safety, and professionalism. The Banquet Houseperson works behind the scenes to create the foundation for memorable guest experiences by managing the logistics and physical setup required for successful events. Key responsibilities include setting up, resetting, and breaking down banquet and event spaces according to specific event requirements and diagrams. The role also entails transporting and arranging tables, chairs, staging, and other event equipment, as well as performing thorough post-event breakdowns that include removing linens, flatware, glassware, decor, and trash. Maintaining cleanliness and organization within storage and service areas is an essential part of the job.

Additionally, the Banquet Houseperson monitors and reports any safety hazards to maintain a safe working environment. They provide assistance to guests and resolve concerns promptly and professionally, contributing to the smooth execution of banquet services. The individual in this role supports banquet service teams to help events run seamlessly while maintaining a professional appearance and upholding the company’s standards for safety and service. Job Requirements

  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
