The role of Banquet House Attendant at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village involves supporting the execution of exceptional banquet and event experiences. This position is integral to ensuring that all event spaces are meticulously prepared and maintained to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet events, managing linens, tableware, and supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the event areas.   • High school education or equivalent experience
  • minimum one year food service or related work experience
  • reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • ability to follow detailed instructions regarding room set-up
  • ability to lift 25/50 pounds regularly
  • legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties

  • Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by banquet event orders
  • stock linen, china, silver, and glassware and supplies ensuring good condition
  • maintain cleanliness and condition of banquet function spaces according to maintenance programs and plans
  • retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely
  • collaborate with banquet team members to ensure efficient event execution
  • report any damages or maintenance issues promptly
  • assist with inventory management of banquet supplies
