We are currently seeking a dedicated Hotel Banquet Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This full-time position offers an hourly wage starting at $18 to $20, reflecting the importance of the role in delivering high-quality food service to our guests. As a banquet cook, you will be instrumental in preparing food that consistently meets our brand’s standards for taste, presentation, and safety. Your role will involve adhering to precise recipes and cooking methods while ensuring that all food items are served at the correct temperatures and with an attractive presentation.

In this role, attention to detail is critical, as is the ability to multitask and maintain a clean and organized workspace that complies with all health and safety regulations. You will be responsible for managing proper documentation and food rotations following standard operating procedures, handling special guest requests with positivity and professionalism, and proactively managing inventory and kitchen equipment to prevent service interruptions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar cooking role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Basic understanding of kitchen safety and food handling procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a hotel or banquet cooking environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Prepare food of consistent quality following brand recipe cards
  • Proper documentation on all food containers with adherence to rotations per SOP
  • Practice safety standards at all times
  • Report to work in full clean uniform on time and ready to serve
  • Cook orders with adherence to guest requests or special needs in a positive manner
  • Be proactive with ordering and pars, food preparations and equipment upkeep to eliminate service obstacles
