The Banquet Cook 2 position at Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville is a vital role within the culinary department. Job Duties

  • Prepare consistent, high-quality food items for banquet events, restaurant outlets, and employee dining room following approved recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
  • complete mise en place and properly set up stations for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service
  • prepare food items in advance while ensuring production aligns with estimated needs to minimize waste
  • operate, maintain, and clean kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
  • ensure all food items are properly dated, labeled, stored, and rotated in accordance with Department of Health and Four Seasons standards
  • monitor food cost controls by minimizing waste, loss, and improper usage
  • maintain strict sanitation and food safety standards, including proper temperature control of perishable items
  • work collaboratively as part of the culinary team to support smooth kitchen operations
