Job Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in banquet catering or hospitality management
  • Proven experience managing events in a high-volume or upscale environment
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service banquet operations and event coordination
  • Experience with scheduling staffing and team leadership
  • Knowledge of food safety sanitation and alcohol service regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management or POS systems
  • Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Business or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee all banquet and event operations ensuring seamless execution from setup to breakdown
  • Coordinate with clients event planners and internal teams to deliver exceptional event experiences
  • Manage banquet staff including scheduling training and performance oversight
  • Ensure all events meet quality presentation and service standards
  • Supervise room setup decor and food and beverage service to align with event specifications
  • Monitor inventory equipment and supply levels for banquet operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety sanitation and alcohol service regulations
  • Address guest needs and resolve any issues promptly during events
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to execute menus and service timelines
  • Track labor and operational costs to meet financial goals
