We are currently seeking a highly organized Banquet Chef to join our team. The Banquet Chef will play a crucial role in overseeing the culinary execution of banquet events and ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained. This role requires strong leadership skills to direct, train, and motivate the culinary team while managing food production according to property standards and guest expectations. The successful candidate will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences by designing menus, controlling food costs, and maintaining inventory. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies. Job Duties

  • Design, expedite, direct, control, and train staff of ingredients to each recipe
  • Supervise team in cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules
  • Maintain proper food inventory, controlling cost, and communicate new arising food trends
  • Schedule and conduct regular meetings and briefings with the Banquet team
  • Follow the hotel cost control policies and procedures
  • Orient new employees to their work area related duty and responsibilities
