Job Requirements
- minimum high school education
- minimum 2 years banquet event experience
- availability to work rotating schedule including holidays and weekends
- ability to work overtime and six-day work weeks
- proactive and self-motivated
- strong interest in culinary career growth
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to communicate effectively
- physical capability to handle kitchen environment
- willingness to undergo interview process including food tasting, drug screening, background check, and reference verifications
Job Qualifications
- minimum high school education
- post-high school education preferred
- minimum 3 years culinary experience in fine dining, banquet events, hotels, or resorts
- strong organizational skills
- effective verbal communication skills
- ability to multitask and work independently
- team player
- basic math skills
- willingness to work flexible hours and overtime
- ability to work all holidays
- ability to work six-day work weeks when needed
Job Duties
- work directly with executive chef and sous chef to prepare daily events
- execute banquet food preparation and service
- maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in kitchen
- participate in food tasting demonstrations and quality control
- manage time effectively to meet event deadlines
- work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and potential overtime
- deliver exceptional guest experiences through culinary excellence
