Job Duties

  • Organize and coordinate the setup, service and breakdown for all food and beverage functions
  • Maintain communication with meeting planners ensuring complete guest satisfaction
  • Train and supervise servers and co-captains effectively
  • Ensure outstanding guest service by greeting and acknowledging guests and maintaining hospitality standards
  • Review and implement banquet event orders including guarantees, set-up requirements and schedules
  • Coordinate with banquet chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service
  • Conduct daily staff briefings and pre-meal inspections
  • Inspect table place settings for cleanliness and proper arrangement
  • Oversee buffet and food service table arrangements
  • Ensure functions start and end on time and supervise service throughout events
  • Manage post-event cleanup and prepare detailed banquet check and reports
  • Review next day’s banquet event orders and staffing needs
  • Foster a positive working relationship among associates
  • Adhere to property safety and security procedures at all times
