Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in banquet or event service is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership capabilities to train and manage staff
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of safe food handling procedures
- Ability to resolve guest concerns professionally
- Capacity to work under pressure and multitask effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in banquet or event service
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of food safety and handling
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and delegate effectively
Job Duties
- Resolve guests' concerns, inquiries, and complaints
- Lead banquet service team by training, coaching, delegating, and setting a standard of excellence
- Assist with food and table prep before events
- Set up buffets with food presentation standards and safe food handling practices
- Serve plated dinners to guests and attend to beverage and appetizer requests
- Communicate effectively with manager, servers, and event organizers
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Open wine and take drink orders
- Clean up venue after events and assist with inventory, food storage, and closeout tasks
- Assist with bartending when necessary
