Known for its commitment to quality and impeccable service, The Olive Tree provides a comprehensive suite of offerings to ensure that every event it hosts becomes a cherished experience for guests. From award-winning catering to flexible and elegantly designed venue spaces, skilled bartending, and professional event planning, The Olive Tree is dedicated to surpassing client expectations. The establishment prides itself on its ability to manage a wide array of event types, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and social celebrations, making it a trusted name in the local hospitality industry.

The Service Captain role at The Olive Tree is critical to maintaining and enhancing the company's longstanding reputation for exceptional service. This position acts as a team leader for the banquet service staff, overseeing the execution of large receptions and events that involve food service. The Service Captain ensures that all dining experiences meet the high standards of excellence expected by the company and its clientele. Acting as a bridge between the banquet service staff and the kitchen, the Service Captain facilitates seamless communication and coordination, helping the team navigate the complexities of large-scale event service smoothly. This role requires not only an eye for detail but also strong leadership qualities that foster teamwork, professionalism, and a customer-centric approach.

The Service Captain's responsibilities extend beyond direct guest service to include training and coaching of banquet staff, managing food and table preparation, and upholding strict standards for food presentation and safe handling. By leading through example and clear communication, the Service Captain shapes the overall guest experience and ensures that all staff members adhere to established protocols. The role demands adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction, as the Service Captain is often called upon to resolve guest concerns and inquiries promptly. Assisting with bartending duties and managing beverage services including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic offerings further highlight the diverse skill set required for this position.

Embodying the values of The Olive Tree, the Service Captain plays an indispensable role in the successful operation of events from start to finish. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where exceptional customer service and impeccable organizational skills are paramount. Those who succeed as Service Captains thrive in fast-paced settings, enjoy leading teams, and take pride in delivering memorable dining experiences.
