As a renowned establishment, it features a collection of historic hotels, lively venues, and unique entertainment options that reflect the authentic Texas experience. The Fort Worth Stockyards embrace a tradition of welcoming guests warmly, with genuine hospitality that honors the proud history of the region. This cherished locale not only celebrates a storied past but also continuously cultivates vibrant cultural experiences, making it a top destination for locals and travelers seeking an immersive Texas adventure.
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals who exemplify the Stockyards' core values of authenticity, hospitality, and community spirit to join our team. The Banquet Bartender role at Stockyards Station is pivotal in delivering exceptional beverage service for a variety of events and banquets hosted on-site. As a key member of the event staff, the Banquet Bartender helps create memorable experiences that resonate with the historic and lively atmosphere of the Stockyards.
In this dynamic role, bartenders will be responsible for the setup and breakdown of banquet bars in accordance with specified event orders. They will expertly prepare drinks following standard recipes and portion control to ensure consistency and quality. Warm and attentive guest interaction is essential, as bartenders greet and serve each guest with a hospitality-driven approach. This role also involves supporting servers with timely drink orders, maintaining cleanliness and stock throughout events, handling cash and credit transactions responsibly, and monitoring guest alcohol consumption to ensure safety and compliance with legal and company standards.
The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of bartending experience within high-volume banquet or hospitality settings, hold TABC certification and a Food Handler's Permit (or be able to obtain them prior to employment), and demonstrate strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary to accommodate the event schedule. Preferred candidates will have over two years of banquet bartending experience, particularly within historic or cultural venues, as well as specialized knowledge of craft cocktails, regional spirits, and Texas wines.
