The role of Banquet Bartender is pivotal in ensuring that our guests enjoy a seamless and pleasurable experience at every event. As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for the preparation and serving of beverages to members and their guests with friendliness, attention to detail, and promptness, fostering satisfaction and repeat engagements. Your duties will include the meticulous setup of the bar area according to event requirements, which entails requisitioning and stocking beverages and related supplies such as paper products, garnishes, and condiments. You will maintain the quality and freshness of all perishables including fruit garnishes and juices to ensure every drink served meets our high-quality standards.
In this role, you will greet guests warmly and take drink orders, following standardized recipes and portion controls for consistency. It is essential to work cooperatively with the banquet team, maintain cleanliness and sanitation around the bar area, and adhere strictly to safety and government regulations, including liquor laws. The Banquet Bartender also plays a crucial role in post-event duties such as inventory control, proper storage of beverages and equipment, and preparing the bar area for the next event. You will be expected to maintain a professional appearance and attitude, comply with uniform standards, and respond promptly to any instructions or guest complaints as relayed to or by the Banquet Manager.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in bartending or banquet service preferred
- Ability to follow standardized drink recipes and portion controls
- Capability to maintain cleanliness and organization of workplace

Job Duties
- Maintain proper and adequate bar setup for each event
- Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on event projections
- Maintain stock, prepare and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily
- Greet guests in a courteous manner and document drink orders
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- Practice teamwork and clean as you go policies
- Lock up and store all beverages, food, and equipment items
- Ensure sanitation in and around the bar area
- Read and understand banquet event orders including start time and beverage requirements
- Remove inventory and beverage equipment to proper storage after functions
- Retrieve and store bar glassware properly
- Work effectively with the banquet team
- Communicate challenges, guest complaints or requests promptly to Banquet Manager
- Respond to instructions and directions from Banquet Manager
- Observe all safety procedures during assigned duties
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Arrive on time in proper uniform
- Keep workstation clean
- Set up banquet function bar setups including all necessary equipment and beverages
- Polish glassware and prepare bar fruit
- Provide professional beverage service consistent with established standards
- Report to Banquet Manager before shift end
- Perform cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned
- Perform additional duties such as special guest requests
- Adhere to all liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
