Job Description
Invited is a leading company in the hospitality and service industry, renowned for its dedication to building relationships and enriching the lives of its members, guests, and employees. Established in 1957, Invited has grown to become the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide, managing over 130 country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs. These clubs offer first-class amenities such as championship golf courses, modern workspaces, handcrafted cuisine, resort-style pools, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, fitness centers, and much more, catering to a discerning clientele and providing exceptional service standards.
As a Bartender at Invited, you will play a vital role in maintaining beverage control, ensuring accurate pouring and serving while keeping the bar area clean and well-organized. This position requires delivering exceptional service that aligns with the club's high standards and consistently exceeds member expectations. The role demands a commitment to the 3-steps of service, enhancing every interaction with members and guests to create a welcoming and personalized experience. Bartenders report to the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets and are integral to delivering the overall member experience.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with food and beverage service, promptly greeting members by name, accurately executing orders, and resolving any complaints with professionalism and effective service recovery. Preparation and maintenance of the bar area before and throughout each shift are essential to ensure all items are fully stocked and the area remains clean and orderly. You will need to possess thorough knowledge of the a la carte menu, wine varieties, and liquor inventory, ensuring proper beverage control and responsible management of all bar resources. Supporting a positive team environment by assisting fellow employees and participating in team efforts is crucial to success in this role.
Invited values professionalism, a commitment to excellence, and a proactive approach to personal and professional growth. The bartender role requires you to follow all company and club policies and procedures, maintain certifications relevant to the role, and participate in daily briefings to stay informed and engaged. You will work in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments, sometimes lifting or moving heavy items and working under varying temperature conditions.
Invited offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package reflecting its commitment to employee wellbeing. Full-time team members have access to benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and generous paid time off and leave programs. Invited promotes an inclusive workplace culture, emphasizing equal employment opportunities and encouraging team members to grow and contribute to the long-term success of the company. Joining Invited means being a part of a community that prioritizes excellence, respect, and meaningful connections within the hospitality industry.
