Job Requirements

  • High school education
  • Bartending training
  • One or more years of related experience
  • Alcohol awareness certification preferred
  • Ability to comply with federal, state and local serving guidelines
  • Ability to manage cash handling and credit card processing
  • Ability to work various shifts including nights and weekends
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must satisfy legal employment requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Physical ability to perform required duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school education plus bartending training
  • One or more years of related experience
  • Alcohol awareness certification and familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred
  • Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service
  • Knowledge of properly preparing mixed drinks and beverages
  • Ability to comply with federal, state, and local serving guidelines
  • Ability to process cash and credit card payments accurately
  • Ability to compile facts and resolve basic issues
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Ability to operate computer, calculator, phone, and office equipment
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Professional attitude with effective communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment

Job Duties

  • Set up bar in function area according to Banquet Event Order and company policies
  • Prepare and serve drinks following policies, alcohol awareness, and relevant regulations
  • Immediately notify management of incidents involving possible excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition
  • Follow guest billing and payment processing according to policies
  • Follow all cash handling responsibilities according to policies
  • Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations
  • Breakdown and thoroughly clean bar and return all equipment and supplies to proper areas
