The Banquet and Hospitality Lead role at the Grand Hall is a pivotal position that ensures the smooth operation of event services during rentals. This part-time role requires a dynamic individual to provide direct customer service and oversee the Banquet Attendant team. The Lead is responsible for coordinating assignments among staff members, supervising event support, and ensuring that setups for tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment, and linens meet the specific demands of each client. The position demands a detail-oriented approach to managing back-to-back event preparations and maintaining the inventory of the hall's equipment and supplies.

In addition to supervisory duties, the Banquet and Hospitality Lead must be adept at supporting caterers and vendors, troubleshooting any operational issues that arise during events, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in a customer service or hospitality setting
  • Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License and safe driving record
  • Ability to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to coordinate and supervise a team during events
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License with a safe driving record

Job Duties

  • Provide direct customer service and support to clients during facility rentals
  • Coordinate assignments and supervise Banquet Attendant staff members during events
  • Prepare for back-to-back rentals including room configuration and setup
  • Oversee the setup of tables, chairs, and audio-visual equipment for clients, caterers, and vendors
  • Maintain an inventory of linens, equipment, tables, and chairs
  • Provide coverage for rentals and events ensuring consistent high-level customer service
  • Troubleshoot operational issues during events as needed
