Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous supervisory or management experience
  • banquet management experience preferred
  • hotel food and beverage experience preferred
  • excellent leadership skills
  • proficiency in computer use
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • manage and coordinate banquet events
  • assist with hiring and training banquet staff including scheduling and monthly meetings
  • illustrate proper techniques and etiquette for all styles of service
  • supervise function room set up including placement of linens, silver, china and glassware
  • conduct visual inspections of function rooms and equipment for cleanliness, proper inventory and set-up
  • collaborate with culinary, sales, and operations departments to ensure successful events
  • ensure exceptional guest experiences during banquet events
