ability to stay calm and composed in a fast-paced environment
ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks during events
ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Cascade Hotel's standard procedures and guest preferences
ensure all drinks are prepared accurately, efficiently, and consistently
serve beverages in a professional manner, ensuring that all guests receive prompt and friendly service
monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene if necessary to ensure responsible drinking
set up the bar area before each event, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and organized for efficient service
break down the bar area after events, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly
provide outstanding customer service by maintaining a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor at all times
respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns
maintain inventory levels during events and communicate restocking needs
handle cash and process payments accurately
clean and sanitize workstations and glassware regularly
adhere to all state and local alcohol service laws and hotel policies
check identification to verify legal drinking age
maintain a safe and orderly work environment
work effectively with event teams and hotel personnel
communicate with Banquet Manager regarding event details
assist with additional duties as required
