Job Requirements
- minimum 4 - 6 years of experience in a supervisory position for a full-service, high volume restaurant and event management experience
- strong knowledge of food and beverage
- exceptional communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to travel to the US Virgin Islands for events

Job Duties
- first point of contact for all events
- handles pre-event coordination including responding to phone and email requests for event information, pricing, creating event proposals, and following up with potential clients
- works closely with general managers and executive chefs in marketing, planning, and execution of events
- meets with potential clients to discuss event plans
- prepares event contracts, proposals, and post-event invoices
- communicates with concept managers, chefs, clients, vendors, coordinators, pr team, marketing department, and guests to deliver contracted services
- operates onsite and offsite events to client specifications with professionalism
- directs, manages, and leads staff to successfully operate events
- maintains a visible working presence and serves as client point-of-contact during events when applicable
- utilizes systems to communicate efficiently, create product lists, and inventory pull sheets
- creates run of show for events and distributes to all involved
- assists with event setup when needed
- demonstrates integrity in all areas
- instills trust and dependability among staff
- completes financial and personnel administrative duties accurately and on time
- ensures proper safety procedures are in place
- enforces sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness
- ensures consistent, high-quality service and food preparation
- performs other duties as requested
