Job Requirements

  • Food safety certification
  • Experience in baking or related roles
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
  • Basic math skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Adherence to safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Candidates with a history of working in baking or related roles are preferred
  • Solid grasp of baking techniques, standards, and compliance with health and safety guidelines
  • Certification: a mandatory requirement for food safety certification(s)
  • Fundamental math and counting competencies are a requirement
  • Skilled in interpersonal communication, adept in expressing ideas clearly through both written and verbal means
  • Physical specifications: requires the ability to handle physical responsibilities, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing
  • The job might involve the wearing of specific uniforms and the utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Job Duties

  • Produce a range of baked goods in accordance with standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • Ensure your workstation is equipped with all the necessary ingredients and tools for baking
  • Gather the materials by quantifying, weighing, combining, cutting, and more as required
  • Employ baking machinery including ovens, stovetops, and mixers
  • Employ caution and care when utilizing utensils like knives for cooking purposes
  • Follow food safety procedures to properly store perishable items
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Uphold a positive attitude and deliver exceptional customer service when engaging with guests, customers, clients, coworkers, and other individuals
  • Comply with Aramark safety guidelines, which highlight the significance of proper food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ensure the security of corporate assets by adhering to specified safety protocols
