Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking or culinary experience preferred
- Certification in food safety is mandatory
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
- Effective communication skills
- Adherence to safety and sanitation protocols
- Ability to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- Experience working as a baker or in a similar position
- Proficiency in baking methodologies, criteria, and health and safety protocols
- Food safety certification
- Solid foundation in math and counting principles
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage physical duties such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing
- Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required
Job Duties
- Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
- Organize your baking station by gathering all the essential equipment and ingredients
- Prepare the ingredients through measuring, weighing, blending, dicing, and other relevant procedures
- Use baking equipment like ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Take precautions to use utensils, like knives, safely and effectively during meal preparation
- Implement proper storage practices as outlined in food safety policies
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Emphasize excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor when interacting with guests, customers, clients, colleagues, and others
- Follow Aramark's safety protocols focusing on effective food safety and sanitation practices
- Follow prescribed security protocols to guarantee the protection of company resources
