Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or g.e.d. equivalent preferred
  • prior work experience preferred but not required in food service such as restaurant deli etc.
  • ability to work flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
  • adaptability to different situations and rapid change
  • ability to interpret understand and follow instruction
  • ability to complete tasks timely
  • ability to move lift carry and place merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • frequently reaches overhead and below knees including pushing pulling squatting kneeling bending stooping crouching twisting
  • occasionally required to climb
  • continuous repetitive motion with hands and arms such as grasping gripping and turning
  • stands or walks continuously throughout shift
  • visually locates merchandise and verifies small print information
  • may be exposed to all weather conditions and inside work with heat cold dust humidity
  • may be exposed to cleaning solvents and other chemicals
  • may be exposed to latex eggs nuts soy and wheat

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or g.e.d. equivalent preferred
  • prior work experience in food service preferred
  • ability to master menu recipes and communicate needs to management
  • ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • adaptability to different situations and shifting priorities
  • strong customer service and hospitality skills

Job Duties

  • support food service department operations including readiness staffing supervision price maintenance policies and procedures inventory preparation financial goals cleanliness and safe use of equipment and tools
  • support replenishment and inventory processes including ordering replenishment receiving invoicing and accounting back stock reclamation returns damages reworks supply use and inventory preparation
  • adhere to all proper equipment procedures including cleaning and maintenance
  • follow company and food safety production guidelines for fresh food preparation production and processing ensure products are packaged weighed priced and labeled correctly
  • maintain food service department cleaning standards using approved equipment and chemicals
  • apply critical thinking and problem solving to define issues and find answers
  • produce high quality products while following safety procedures
