Job Duties
- Package, label, and stock baked goods such as breads, rolls, donuts, cakes, and cookies
- Assist with basic baking and finishing tasks such as icing, slicing, decorating, or baking off frozen products
- Set up and maintain attractive bakery displays and product signage
- Monitor product freshness, rotate stock, and remove outdated or damaged items
- Maintain clean and sanitary bakery and deli cases, prep areas, and equipment
- Answer customer questions and assist with special orders or product recommendations
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Slice, weigh, and package deli meats and cheeses according to customer specifications
- Prepare and display deli items such as salads, preparing rotisserie chicken, sandwiches, and hot foods
- Label and price products accurately
- Assist with inventory, receiving, and restocking of deli and bakery items
- Answer customer questions about ingredients, preparation, and recommendations
- Follow all store policies and health department regulations
