Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a grocery or food service environment preferred
Ability to operate bakery and deli equipment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to stand for long periods
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to follow instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail
Good physical stamina
Ability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment
Offer product samples to customers to help discover new items
Inform customers of bakery and deli specials
Provide fresh products in correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
Recommend deli or bakery items to customers
Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to guidelines
Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions
