- offer product samples to help customers discover new items
- inform customers of bakery and deli specials
- provide customers with fresh products in correct portion sizes
- recommend deli or bakery items to customers
- use bakery equipment according to company guidelines
- maintain product quality by checking freshness and expiration dates
