The Bakery Associate role at Metro Market plays a crucial part in creating an outstanding customer experience. This position is centered around delivering exceptional service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and providing recommendations from a well-informed standpoint about bakery products. The Bakery Associate is responsible for preparing bakery items, including wedding cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and pastries, while ensuring the high quality and freshness of all offerings through regular quality checks and adherence to food safety standards. Decorating cakes and other items with skill and creativity is a key part of the job.

Working closely with the department manager, the Bakery Associate helps meet sales and profitability goals while maintaining compliance with all quality assurance standards.
