The available position focuses on elevating customer experiences within the bakery department, a vital part of the store that delights customers with freshly baked goods, including specialty and custom orders like wedding cakes. This role involves assisting the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals while monitoring and maintaining high standards for quality assurance and safety. Employees in this role are empowered to engage customers, answer questions about products, provide personalized recommendations, and offer samples to help customers discover new items.

Team members are trained to maintain optimal product quality by checking freshness, reviewing sell-by dates, and using bakery equipment properly, such as refrigerators, freezers, and ovens. Decorating cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery items is also a core responsibility, ensuring the bakery’s offerings not only taste delightful but are visually appealing as well. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to health and safety regulations, and collaboration with store management to maintain a clean, safe, and vibrant environment.
