Job Duties
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Assist department manager in reaching sales and profit goals
- Monitor all quality assurance standards
- Embrace Customer 1st strategy and encourage excellent customer service
- Demonstrate company core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety
- Prepare bakery items using proper equipment
- Offer product samples to customers
- Inform customers of bakery specials
- Provide fresh products with correct portion sizes
- Recommend bakery items to customers
- Use kitchen equipment according to guidelines
- Prepare foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions
- Measure and mix ingredients per recipes
- Package, label and inventory ingredients
- Check product quality and freshness
- Label, stock and inventory department merchandise
- Report product ordering and shipping discrepancies
- Maintain store layout knowledge
- Stay current with ads
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintain temperature logs
- Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Perform preventive maintenance and report repair needs
- Report customer or employee accidents
- Report all safety risks and illegal activities
- Perform essential functions with or without accommodation
