Job Duties

offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products
inform customers of bakery specials
provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
recommend bakery items to customers
use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to company guidelines
prepare foods following food temperature logs and cooking instructions
measure, prepare and mix ingredients according to recipes
adequately prepare, package, label and inventory ingredients and merchandise
check product quality to ensure freshness and review sell by dates
properly use kitchen equipment like stove, fryer, steamer, robot coupe
label, stock and inventory department merchandise
report product ordering/shipping discrepancies
display a positive attitude
locate products requested by customers
stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads
maintain inventory/stocking condition awareness
adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and logs
comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
