Job Requirements

  • High school completion or GED certification
  • Less than 12 months of experience in baking or kitchen-related tasks
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capacity to lift or move weights up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks involving bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching
  • Capability to work on slippery or uneven surfaces
  • Availability to follow kitchen protocols and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake pastries, breads, desserts, and other baked goods as per standardized recipes and presentation norms
  • Measure out, combine, portion, and get ready the components for the daily baking tasks
  • Safely manage and maintain baking machinery and equipment in good condition
  • Monitor the functioning of ovens and kitchen instruments to verify the right cooking durations and heat levels
  • Observe food safety and sanitation policies, which encompass proper food storage, personal cleanliness, and cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Adhere to kitchen guidelines for workstation setup and breakdown
  • Make sure that each batch prepared during the shift meets the required standards of food quality and consistency
