Job Duties

Consistently demonstrate the Woods Supermarket D>E service and Hospitality 4 guidelines
Must adhere to all local, state, and federal laws, and company standards
Notify management of guest or teammate accidents or injuries
Report all safety risks and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud
Be respectful, courteous, and helpful to other teammates
Stay current with all ads
Understand the store's layout and be able to take guests to products
Perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Perform other miscellaneous tasks assigned by managers
Follow proper food handling and safety protocols
Ensure proper sanitation of department and equipment
Follow all technical manuals for processing of products, including label placement and packaging
Update displays, cases, and other guest-facing areas to showcase new items and promotions
Prep, store, rotate, and stock merchandise
Prepare items per guest requests using proper equipment
Inform guests of department-specific specials and make recommendations
Provide guests with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
Use all equipment in the department according to company guidelines
Prepare, package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise
Check product quality to ensure freshness and review "sell by" dates
Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager
Maintain awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and note discrepancies
Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and logged
Follow all food safety guidelines
Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions
Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients per recipes using kitchen utensils and equipment
