Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- able to stand or walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
- hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- physical motions including bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- able to work in wet and dry conditions
- able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- may require use of ladders

- High school diploma or equivalent
- no prior retail experience required
- strong to excellent communication skills
- ability to deliver information clearly and respectfully to Team Members, customers, and vendors
- ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions

Job Duties
- Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked through front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products
- stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas
- monitor and prevent spoilage and communicate waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor
- maintain back stock in good order
- assist with sampling program by keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing
- assist with periodic inventory checks
- arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work, work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings
- provide excellent customer service, address customer needs timely and effectively and model suggestive selling techniques
- maximize sales potential through effective prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- follow and comply with established procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment and equipment according to Whole Foods Market cleanliness and safety standards
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned and ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
- immediately report safety hazards and violations
- perform other duties as assigned by store, regional or national leadership
