Job Requirements

  • No prior retail experience required
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
  • ability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, and pallet jacks
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Ensures fresh and appealing displays by cleaning and stocking shelves and cases
  • stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas
  • monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors
  • maintains back stock in good order
  • assists with sampling programs by keeping sample areas clean and appealing
  • assists with periodic inventory checks
  • provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs promptly
  • follows established procedures including health and sanitation standards
  • maintains a clean and sanitary working environment
  • performs opening, mid, and closing duties
  • immediately reports safety hazards and violations
  • performs other duties as assigned
