Job Requirements
- High school completion or GED certification
- Less than one year of relevant experience in baking, pastry, or kitchen roles
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, or drag loads weighing up to 25 lbs independently
- Capability to perform bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching overhead and below the knees
- Ability to perform duties on slick or uneven surfaces such as ramps and steps
- No licenses or certifications required

- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately

Job Duties
- Make and bake pastries, breads, desserts, and similar items according to standard recipes and presentation requirements
- Carry out the measurement, mixing, allotment, and organization of ingredients for the daily baking tasks
- Handle and care for baking tools and instruments in a secure and appropriate manner
- Monitor the functioning of ovens and kitchen instruments to verify the right cooking durations and heat levels
- Follow procedures for food safety and sanitation, including storing food correctly, practicing good personal hygiene, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment
- Arrange and disassemble workstation as per kitchen standards
- Guarantee consistent food quality and standards with each batch prepared throughout the working period
- Keep the bakery/kitchen space tidy, secure, and well-arranged at all times to ensure a hygienic and safe working environment
- Interact in a professional manner with colleagues and visitors when necessary
- Support team members and actively participate in promoting a positive group dynamic
- Engage in other tasks and responsibilities as required by superiors
