Job Duties
- Support the department leader and train and develop bakery staff
- Achieve sales and department objectives including labor, cost of goods and supplies
- Control waste and losses
- Register, control, and supervise personnel
- Supervise product transfer, rotation, marking, and utensils control
- Ensure products meet specifications for quality, price, performance, packaging, and marketing
- Manage performance evaluations and identify potential future opportunities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
- Prepare reports, schedules, inventories, and conduct deep cleaning
- Answer questions and solve problems in the bakery department
- Train team members to perform all job functions
