The Bakery Staff at Marriott St. Louis Grand plays a vital role within the culinary team, bringing creativity, precision, and passion to the art of baking. Though previous baking or kitchen experience is preferred, Marriott welcomes applicants with less than a year of relevant experience, and a high school diploma or GED is typically required.

  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation practices including proper food storage hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
  • Follow kitchen protocols for setting up and dismantling workstations
  • Maintain consistent food quality and consistency for every batch
  • Ensure bakery and kitchen areas are clean safe and well organized
  • Communicate professionally with team members and guests
  • Support fellow associates and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
