Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Less than one year of baking or kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including bending twisting reaching and lifting
  • Capable of managing items weighing less than 25 lbs without assistance
  • Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and work under pressure
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred
  • Less than one year of experience in baking pastry making or kitchen environment preferred
  • No licenses or certifications required
  • Supervisory experience not mandatory

Job Duties

  • Bake a variety of goods including pastries bread and desserts using standardized recipes
  • Scale blend divide and lay out ingredients needed for daily baking operations
  • Safely manage and maintain baking machinery and equipment
  • Monitor ovens and kitchen tools to ensure proper cooking times and temperatures
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines including food storage personal hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
  • Set up and dismantle workstations according to kitchen guidelines
  • Maintain consistent food quality and presentation standards throughout the shift
  • Ensure bakery and kitchen areas remain clean safe and organized
  • Communicate professionally with team members and guests
  • Assist fellow associates to promote a collaborative team environment
