Job Requirements
- Strong customer service, accountability, and ownership skills
- Culinary aptitude with 1 year experience in baking, cooking, or related field
- Preferably culinary school graduate
- Physical exam required prior to hiring
- Ability to handle moderate physical effort involving medium weight objects (approx. 20-50 lbs)
- Ability to work in moderate exposure to unfavorable conditions
- Ability to manage moderate existing or potential hazards
- Must be a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worthy to hold a current temple recommend
Job Qualifications
- Strong customer service, accountability, and ownership skills
- Culinary aptitude: 1 year experience with baking, cooking, or related field
- Culinary school graduate preferred
- 5 years full-time equivalent bakery production experience or culinary certification/degree from accredited culinary school preferred
Job Duties
- Learn bakery standard operations procedures
- Production of cakes, breads, desserts for the campus dining operations
- Completing training and food safety courses per CSC requirements
- Cleaning and sanitizing bakery equipment and preparation surfaces
- Supervise part-time and student employees
- Utilize computerized inventory/ordering system to establish production schedules
- Verify product inventories
- Prep and organize orders
- Mentor student employees
