Job Requirements
- Must reside within the territory ideally close to a major airport
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively including overnight stays
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong formulation and process skills in bakery production
- Fluency in Spanish required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical aspects of bakery equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and sales growth
Job Qualifications
- Recent prior experience working as a baker preferably in large scale commercial or industrial settings
- Hands on experience formulating or reformulating bread
- Understanding of bakery manufacturing and a passion for the industry
- Ability to learn and understand bakery production machinery
- American Institute for Baking certification or post secondary education in culinary arts or baking highly desirable
- Excellent networking skills and ability to establish key relationships
- Sales-oriented self-starter with understanding of sales processes
- Fluent in Spanish
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal
- Prior experience with bakery production equipment highly desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy
Job Duties
- Travel overnight during the week approximately 80 percent of time to small, midsized and large-scale food plants and headquarters of baking companies in a multistate region ranging from Louisiana to Florida
- Assist customers with research and development/formulation of bakery products and applications
- Work successfully with food scientists and bakery experts at customer locations including small bakeries, large bakeries, or major food companies
- Support the Reiser sales team at customer meetings and presentations
- Collaborate effectively with other Reiser specialists and regional salespeople
- Coordinate required resources to successfully install machinery and gain feedback to assist in further machine development
- Actively participate in sales process by identifying customer needs and proposing appropriate solutions
