Job Requirements
- Must be available to work any day including holidays and any shift
- Reliable attendance to meet employer’s standards for a 24/7 production facility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
- Must possess physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting and manual labor
- Willingness to learn and take on multiple roles as production needs change
- Ability to follow strict food safety and quality standards
- Commitment to union membership within 30 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in similar production line duties at a large commercial or artisan bakery is preferred
- Work experience in other industrial, manufacturing, or production-line environments may be considered
- Ability to work in high-temperature environments supporting fast-paced machinery
- Quick learning ability for new job tasks and flexibility to work in different roles as needed
- Reliable attendance and commitment to maintaining employer’s standards
- Union membership required within 30 days of hire
- Adherence to company core values
Job Duties
- Execute assigned manual labor tasks involving grasping, lifting, moving, placing, and stacking items related to production processes
- Identify, count, sort, and visually inspect bakery items
- Accurately record product analysis data or counts as required by SQF Food Safety Procedures
- Maintain workflow from production conveyors
- Read orders and load trays of bakery products onto transport racks or pallets according to specified orders
