Job Requirements
- Ability to stand upright for long periods without sitting
- Ability to flex shape and raise heavy bags of baking materials up to 50 pounds
- Skill in operating hot ovens and baking machinery
- Capable of performing in a lively and rapid work setting
- Basic understanding of food safety standards
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking or food production experience preferred
- Ability to follow specific recipes and procedures
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate baking equipment and machinery
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including bread cakes cookies pastries pies and other specialty items
- Operate ovens and baking equipment ensuring correct temperatures and perfect cooking
- Monitor ingredient inventory order supplies and ensure proper storage
- Clean and sanitize baking equipment workstations and utensils
- Regularly inspect baked goods for quality to meet bakery standards in appearance texture and taste
- Follow daily par sheet and adjust production to par levels
- Adhere to health department regulations and company food safety standards
