Job Requirements

  • No prior retail experience required
  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
  • hand use involving grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • ability to work in cold and hot temperature environments
  • ability to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use knives, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require ladder use

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries, including cake decorating

Job Duties

  • Produces quality breads and pastries
  • produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
  • stocks dry products
  • develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
  • trains production personnel to the highest standards in industry
  • performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
