Job Requirements

No prior retail experience required
must be able to lift 50 pounds
ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
hand use involving grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
ability to work in cold and hot temperature environments
ability to work in wet and dry conditions
flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
ability to use knives, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
may require ladder use

Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries, including cake decorating
positive attitude and passion for baking
basic computer skills

Job Duties

Produces quality breads and pastries
produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
stocks dry products
develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
trains production personnel to the highest standards in industry
performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
