Job Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 pounds
standing or walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
able to perform motions including bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
able to work in temperatures ranging from below 32 degrees Fahrenheit to over 90 degrees Fahrenheit
able to work in wet and dry conditions
flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
ability to use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks and other heavy machinery
may require use of ladders
high school diploma or equivalent
no prior retail experience required

Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries, including cake decorating
basic computer skills
strong to excellent communication skills
ability to deliver information clearly and respectfully
ability to meet customer service expectations
effective time management and organizational skills

Job Duties

Produces quality breads and pastries
produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products
stocks dry products
develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
trains production personnel to the highest standards in industry
performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
